ASK ROTOMAN

Hello Rotoman:

I have a couple of questions if time permits.

I see your bid/bet for Daulton Varsho and Andrew Vaughn at $27 and $21 respectively as high-end vs other sources. Is this due to your assessment of market forces, confidence in breakout performances, or both?

Secondly, an article by Bret Sayre in Baseball Prospectus today discusses optimal Auction strategy in LABR AL. I see the utility in an approach tailored to a specific market's tendencies. Do you utilize an overall framework (Spread the Risk, Stars and Scrubs, etc.) to auction in 5x5 or do you allow your bids to drive the auction car?
